Dennis - I had a couple of set backs with my back problem this year. We thank God that it has settled down and I am able
to lead a relatively normal life. Although I do have to be careful.
There has been a major change though. I never been a great one for 'wasting my
time reading.' Now since I am required to have 2 half hour rests each day, I now has become quite an avid reader.
Why did I wait so long to get into reading?
Jarrod
- (20) is doing his cert 111 in horticulter. He his also doing an apprenticeship in landscaping.
He works for a small nursery ownned by a Christian couple. Jarrod is often left
in complete charge of the nursery. One of the owners of the nursery is quite sick, so Jarrod's job situation is a bit unstable
at the moment.
Nelita
- (5) Is heading to kinder next year. It has been delightful watching her grow.
We have had two of her older sisters staying with us over the last 4 months. Unfortunately
they will be haeding back to Borroloola soon.

Glenys - I still love being in the Raymond Terrace area. I have done some photography courses last year that have
been a real encouragement to me. I did learn that I was not quite as 'camera illiterate' as I thought I was.
One of the things I really enjoy doing is going out to the Stockton sand hills.
It is a great way to clear the cob webs.
I am finding the translation work a mental challenge.
I also have a part time job this year - counting worms at Jarrods workplace.
I put on my MP3 player, get lost in audiobooks and sort worms.
Benjamin
(18) works in a fibreglassing factory doing all king of really big jobs.
He has indicated his desire to go back to school. Is said he is tired of working
for others and would like to become self-employed in the future.
